My latest article, entitled “Politics of creep: Latent development, technology monitoring, and the evolution of the Schengen Information System“, has now been published as open access online first version in the European Journal of International Security.
In the article, Vanessa Ugolini and I empirically reconstruct the techno-politics that have set up the transformation of the Schengen Information System from a simple data sharing tool to the full blown, large-scale investigation database for European internal security that it is today.
